Michael Jackson with the Large palace, the icon, the god, artists influenced by the King of the Pop one
Until February 14th, 2019, the Large palace devotes an exposure to Michael Jackson, the life of the star, but also to the impact which the artist had on his contemporaries, painters, sculptors, musicians, dancers.
First black musician to know an international repute, it was one of the cultural figures most outstanding of second half of the 20th century.
Its image and its music continue to have a great influence in the cultural field of our time. that it is for the dance, the music, the fashion, the musical clips of which it was the precursor, devoting the video like forms art except for whole.
Except for Charlie Chaplin, few people are recognizable immediately by their simple silhouette. Its postures, its steps of dance, the famous moonwalk, a back–slide which goes back to Cab Calloway, became legendary.

The exposure presents works of twelve artists who evoke the social origins of the child–star, exhaustion with the work of the blue–collar workers, the hard labour of the minors, or testify to the importance of the figure of Michael Jackson like model for youth Afro–American of the Seventies and Eighties.
