The Top of the Courts list at the Hérault Festival of Cinema and Television

The City of Agde in partnership with the Community of Agglomeration Hérault Méditerranée has launched its 16th Film Festival “The Hérault of Cinema and Television” in the grounds of the new Palais des Congrès in Cap d’Agde from 18 to 24 June 2019 last.

The new Palais des Congrès, chosen by the Municipality, is the project of Philippe Bonon, architect at A + Architecture for its design and Hervé Di Rosa, internationally renowned artist, for the fishnet surrounding the building.

The public, who came in large numbers, was able to enjoy feature film screenings, watch short films in competition and meet the personalities of cinema and television with dedications and selfies. The audience was able to discover about thirty screenings, in the presence of film crews.

The festival is the meeting place for fans of the 7th art and small screen, it is always held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The public jury chaired by Philippe Legroux had this year’s favorite for the short film “Cache-Cash” directors Enya Baroux & Martin Darondeau; The Public and Professional Jury ruled at the closing of the Festival.
The professional jury composed of Marie-Laetitia Bettencourt, author and actress, David Maltese, author and producer, Jenny Del Pino, actress, Thomas Gaudin, author and director, won short films. The Top of the Courts list decided by the professional jury, chaired by Olivier Mégaton:
The Grand Prix was awarded to the short film “Call me Matthew” by Rémy Cayuela.
The Prix d’interprétation féminine was awarded to Hélène Bizot in “Bel ange” by Franck Victor.
The Male Performance Award went to Husky Kihal in “Cache-Cash” by Enya Baroux and Martin Darondeau.
The Special Mention was awarded for the short film “Edith and Henry” by Clemence Lebatteux.
And the “Coup de coeur” of the public was awarded to the short film “Cash Cache” by Enya Baroux and Martin Darond.
