To good “tale”

Gradually the life of all and one person returns to a normal course. Not the middle of the show. The rooms are still not allowed to open again. As well, producers and actors must rethink their jobs, find alternatives to this expectation that their activities will not fall apart. Easier to write than to do. Farid Zerzour decided to act by adapting “Sindbad, birth of a hero” for outdoor performances at the foot of the buildings. The public will thus be able to watch the performance that is in front of them from its windows.

Shéherazade has to tell her husband a story every day at nightfall; a tyrant who will cut his head if she does not. She asked for Hindbad the calligrapher’s competition, but he was short of inspiration. Anxiety. In her panic, she takes a marvelous lamp from which a mind escapes. Sindbad, who is the double of Hindbad and more intrepid, will help them. All three of them are invaded by a crazy and crazy imagination. Fantastic is king here.

The story they develop makes a giant whale, a snake with flamboyant eyes and wide jaw, a bloody cyclope, a giant, diamond researchers and the legendary sharply clouded “Rok” bird face to face. A string of twists, adventures and misadventures in which Sindbad plays the valiant and brave heroes and which will give life to the giant fresco created by Hindbad.

With “Sindbad, birth of a hero”, Farid Zerzour reinvents culture in a revisited version inspired by the tales of the Arabian Nights orchestrated in a colorful and original setting. For all types of public – With Abdeslam Ladjoua (Hinbad), Alexandra Saifi (Shéhérazade) and Farid Zerzour (Sindbad) – At 7 p.m. on June 12 in Asnières cité des Mourinoux (92), on June 19 in Argenteuil (95), on June 20 in Stains (93), June 26 in Colombes (92) and June 27 in Aubervilliers (93)
