Very last days for the Parisian Christmas markets!

Born in Germany and Alsace, the Christmas markets return every year from November to the Capital, especially on the Champ de Mars and La Défense.

Traditional and popular, they are the great end-of-year shopping event to shop for the Holidays, often at the last minute.

The Champ de Mars Christmas Village and that of La Défense were created by Jean-Claude Meritte from Codecom.

La Défense is made up of 300 chalets spread over 13,000m2 on the Parvis, around fifty for the Champ de Mars.

These Christmas markets are not just trade fairs. Certainly, there are local shops, Christmas business, catering, but we kept the festive spirit.
Gastronomy with local products and handcrafted products go hand in hand.

There is even a merry-go-round at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, a little train that took Jean-Claude Meritte and his guests, Josiane Gaude, First Deputy, in charge of trade at the town hall of the 7th arrondissement, Daniel Lauclair, sports journalist and the choreographer, dancer, singer and actress Mia Frye.

A Peruvian music group, led by musician-plumber-electrician Claudio, animates the evenings.
Sellers of santons or jewelry, essential oils or anti-aging creams, scarves and carpets, rub shoulders with wine, rum or hot chocolate, grilled chestnuts, pancakes, sausages, pizzas, tartiflettes and other aligots.
