Comedian Théo Cosset launches his clothing brand

Théo Cosset

We told you about him a year ago and told you to remember his name. The actor Théo Cosset who plays Arthur Lazzari-Moiret in the successful TF1 series “Tomorrow belongs to us” confided to us that his nascent notoriety pushed him to go further. Well it’s done. The comedian he has become outside of film sets, has just launched his brand of clothing for men and women with his brother.

With its sportswear clothing made in France, Setco (the verlan of Cosset) has for only quality. This is why it was unthinkable for the brand not to work with a supplier who was not eco-responsible. The one that the Cosset brothers have chosen is, moreover, certified with the Oeko-Tex, OCS Blended, OCS 100, GOTS, GRS and PETA labels. “Most of our clothes are made from 100% organic cotton. You should know that organic cotton is a natural fiber, without GMOs, much less greedy in water than conventional cotton. Above all, its production does not use chemicals (no fertilizers or pesticides) and promotes crop rotation to keep soils healthier, more fertile and more humid. As for the waste from cotton ginning, it is recycled for the animal food industry. Our producer uses recycled polyester to make its windproof jackets and as a complement (at a rate of 15%) to organic cotton for some of our sweatshirts. A windproof jacket can recycle between 7 and 8 PET plastic bottles. And so that our sweatshirts remain very soft on the skin, it is never in direct contact with the polyester, sandwiched by two layers of organic cotton, “explains Théo Cosset.

Nothing was therefore thought of at random. Creating a committed brand, caring for the planet with affordable prices is good, but, highlighting “artists from the four corners of the planet in order to raise money through collections that will be redistributed to associations with which we collaborate ”it is even better and, such is the will of Setco. This is why throughout the year, collaborations with famous brands like Champion, Carhartt… will also take place.

What about the distribution? Ordering products is in this first possible launch stage via the internet. Very soon, they will be offered for purchase in pop-up stores; the final wish being that Setco opens its own store.
