Divano Dromensa in concert at Notre-Dame de Lorette

On October 4, Divano Dromensa’s gypsy cabaret, brought nostalgia to the rhythms of gypsy music in concert at Notre-Dame de Lorette and lead the audience on a musical journey transformed Alan’s town into a party.

The spectators experienced exceptional moments, living for two hours in the skin of the community, to the rhythms and gypsy dances.

A veritable whirlwind of Russian music, gypsy jazz and gypsy songs, which transported the public to the edges of a nostalgia and party spirit, emotions and frenzied cadences on gypsy music.

Divano Dromensa, lead the public on a musical journey from the port of Odessa on the shores of the Black Sea to the Mediterranean rim, passing through Romania, the Carpathians and the Balkans, like so many mirrors of their family histories and of their cultures.

A metaphor for this Gypsy sound diaspora where Slavic voices, cadences of the tarafs, which contribute to invent a kind of cabaret open to the stars and the brotherhood of peoples.

Vassili Tcheretsky is the “music master” of DIVANO DROMENSA, his status as soloist and then as arranger with the Red Army Choirs has led him to travel from north to south Russia and the Eastern countries. He took advantage of every moment to collect songs and music from the Gypsy communities and famous soloists.

Vassili Tcheretsky, having settled in France, he met guitarist Alexandre Zuanon and singer and musician Estelle Panné, from a family of Romanian virtuosos, violinist Paul Guta, both specialists in Russian-speaking Gypsy traditions, in 2008, they founded DIVANO DROMENSA and very quickly perform as a quintet.

Nicolas “GREGORIEVICH” ORTIZ distinguished by numerous international awards, devotes himself with passion to gypsy music, towards a marriage between tradition and creation brought by his violin. His qualities are recognized even in Granada where he teaches and where he plays with the Orchestra of Andalusia.

Double bassist Camille WOLFROM, from Nancy passionate about jazz and double bass, whom he notably collaborated with stars Stochelo ROSENBERG and Samson SCHMITT.

After 10 years of touring, Divano Dromensa has forged a solid reputation for excellence, more than 200 concerts, participations in many festivals and concerts very noticed in many regions!

• Within the framework of the festival “La Manche puts the cities on stage”, Divano Dromensa will meet on October 9 at Théreval in the Normandy region.
• On October 10, 2020 Divano Dromensa is in concert in Mortain-Bocage in the Normandy region.
• On October 18, 2020, Divano Dromensa, concert in Correns in the “Les Printemps du Monde” festival in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region (Pays de la Provence verte).
